Investor Overview
Bright Light Solar VCC Ltd officially launched its venture capital fund under s12J of the Income Tax Act in 2017. The initial capital raise round concluded in February 2018, raising R11.5m via our first public offering. Funds were invested in a portfolio of solar energy projects within the community scheme and commercial property sectors. Our footprint expanded to include long-term solar energy projects in Bloemfontein, Pretoria and Johannesburg.
