BLS plans to raise additional capital, following the success of the February 2019 capital raise process, where it raised close to R100m from investors.

BLS’s investment mandate is to invest in companies focused on long term solar and efficient energy projects and offers a unique investment opportunity within the renewable energy space. BLS plans to take advantage of the growing demand for solar and efficient energy requirements from residential developments (gated estates), as well as commercial and industrial clients in South Africa.

Funds raised will be invested in a portfolio of solar and efficient energy projects, which demonstrate predictable inflation linked cash flows supported by long term Electricity Supply and Services Agreements. Due to our strong internal capabilities coupled with various strategic partnerships, BLS is able to offer excellent returns to its investors. With predictable annuity income over 10 to 25 years, coupled with the SARS S12J allowance, BLS is confident of its success.
