Bright Light Devco — O&M Reporting Analysts
Roles and Responsibilities
- Capture and input operational data into various O&M and asset management platforms (e.g. CMMS, monitoring systems, performance dashboards).
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
- Perform routine data checks and flag anomalies or missing information.
- Extract and analyse O&M reports related to:
- Asset availability and performance
- Fault trends and downtime
- Preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Energy yield and performance ratios (where applicable)
- Identify trends, variances, and data inconsistencies requiring further technical review.
- Populate standardised reporting templates with validated data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare consolidated reports for further technical analysis by engineers and asset managers.
- Support performance reviews, monthly O&M reporting cycles, and ad hoc data requests.
- Assist in improving reporting structures, templates, and data workflows over time.
- Maintain version control and audit trails for reports and datasets.
- Support continuous improvement of data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and system usage.
- Document reporting processes and data assumptions where required.
- Accurate and timely O&M performance reports.
- Clean, validated datasets ready for technical assessment.
- Consistent reporting across multiple solar sites and platforms.
- Clear identification of performance trends and data issues.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy), Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Data Analysis, Reporting, or Energy Management (e.g., in Solar Operations & Maintenance, or CMMS platforms) would be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or operations reporting, ideally in a renewable energy or asset management environment.
- Proven experience with O&M platforms, performance monitoring, and report generation.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying trends and anomalies in operational data.
