Bright Light Solar VCC (Pty) Ltd – Public offer 2021
Bright Light Solar VCC (Pty) Ltd (“BLS”) is pleased to announce the approval and release of the February 2021 Prospectus.
BLS plans to raise additional capital, following the successes of previous years’ capital raise processes.
BLS’s investment mandate is to invest in companies focused on long term solar, hot water and other efficient energy projects and offers a unique investment opportunity within the renewable energy space. BLS plans to take advantage of the growing demand for solar, hot water and other efficient energy requirements from residential developments (gated estates), as well as commercial and industrial clients in South Africa.
Funds raised will be invested in a portfolio of solar, hot water and efficient energy projects, which demonstrate predictable inflation linked cash flows supported by long term Electricity Supply and Services Agreements. Due to our strong internal capabilities coupled with various strategic partnerships, BLS is able to offer excellent returns to its investors. With predictable annuity income over 10 to 25 years, coupled with the SARS S12J allowance, BLS is confident of its success.
