We write to advise that the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) has approved the conversion of Bright Light Solar VCC Limited from a public company to a private company, effective 21 September 2026.

This conversion represents the first phase of the broader restructuring of the VCC Group, further details of which will be communicated to shareholders in due course.

We wish to thank shareholders for their support at the Special General Meeting held earlier this year, the Board of Directors for its continued guidance throughout this process, and our legal advisors, Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, for their assistance in effecting this change.
